Who can claim?

The redemption is only open to eligible claimants. An “eligible claimant” is a person who:

a)           is either an Australian citizen or a resident;

b)           purchases a Qualifying Product from Bunnings (Australia) or Tool Kit Depot (Australia) during the Promotion Period;

c)           registers their new AEG product(s) with a My AEG account;

d)           provides an Australian (physical) street address, that is not a PO Box address;

e)           registers a claim for this redemption via My AEG during the Redemption Period for himself or herself exclusively and not on behalf of any other person or group of persons; and

f)           does not in any way tamper with the redemption and/or the registration process for the redemption.

Promotion Period

This Promotion runs on Friday, 27 June 2025 only, subject to participating store opening hours.

Redemption Period 

Qualifying Products purchased during the Promotion Period must be registered and Bonus Products redeemed by 11:59pm AEST 10 July 2025.

Redemption offer 

Purchase a Qualifying Product from Bunnings (Australia) or Tool Kit Depot (Australia) in Australia during the applicable Promotion Period, register your product with My AEG, and claim your redemption during the applicable Redemption Period to receive the Bonus Product.

All Qualifying Products may not be available in all stores and Bonus Products are also limited.

Excluded Product(s)

This redemption does not apply to products not listed as Qualifying Products.

This redemption does not apply to battery or battery and charger packs.

This redemption does not apply to products when products or product kits are:

a)      incomplete and/or are sold at a reduced cost; and

b)      sold at a discounted cost (including employee discounts), clearance cost or reduced price. (Note: Bunnings PowerPass price will be accepted).

Proof of purchase

A valid proof of purchase requires a store receipt from Bunnings (Australia) or Tool Kit Depot (Australia) of the purchase of a Qualifying Product made during the Promotion Period.

How to claim

To redeem the Bonus Product, you must:

a)      during the Promotion Period, purchase a Qualifying Product from Bunnings (Australia) or Tool Kit Depot (Australia) in Australia and retain your proof of purchase receipt;

b)      during the Redemption Period, register the product by following these steps:

1)               go to https://www.aegpowertools.com.au/my-aeg and log in to your My AEG account. If you do not have an account with My AEG, you will need to register one first;

2)       complete a product registration for your new AEG product(s);

3)       upload your receipt as proof of purchase;

4)       submit the product registration form;

c)      if a redemption is available for the product you registered, a pop-up notification will appear, alternatively available and unclaimed redemptions will be listed under the redemptions tab in the My AEG portal. Click the redeem button and proceed to fill out the redemption claim form.

Once your redemption claim is submitted, you will receive an email notification of your application. Upon verification and if you qualify for the redemption under these Terms and Conditions, your Bonus Product will be sent to you.

There is no fee charged to register for this redemption, other than purchasing a Qualifying Product and the cost of you accessing the Internet.

Entries permitted 

Multiple redemptions permitted, subject to the following:

a)      only one (1) redemption claim permitted per Qualifying Product purchased; and

b)      each redemption claim must be submitted separately and in accordance with claim instructions.

Delivery

It may take between 8-12 weeks for delivery of the Bonus Product(s).

Extended warranty

If the AEG product purchased is registered online in the My AEG portal within the first 30 days of purchase, the product may also qualify for an extended warranty at no additional cost. For warranty details please visit: https://www.aegpowertools.com.au/support/warranties.

The no cost extended warranty is only available to the original purchaser/eligible claimant who purchased the AEG product and registered online at My AEG portal within the first 30 days of purchase. The extended warranty will only apply for successful online registration completed within 30 days of purchase. If an eligible claimant sells or gives away the AEG product purchased to another person, the no cost extended warranty will no longer apply

General

1.      These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read together with the details outlined above. Information about the redemption and how to claim forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this redemption is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2.      Redemption claims are only available when you register your product(s) online through your My AEG account, in the correct form provided for in the information on how to claim and will not be accepted by the Promoter in any other form.

3.      A valid redemption claim requires product registration with personal contact information, including your full name, delivery street address (in Australia, excluding P.O. Box), contact number, email address, the AEG product(s) purchased, the Australian authorised retailer store it was purchased from, serial/model number(s) for the product(s) or for all products in a product kit, and a copy of the proof of purchase (store product receipt). Any registration form/redemption claim that fails to provide true and correct information (including but not limited to product serial/model numbers) will be deemed invalid and excluded from the redemption.

4.      This redemption does not apply to any products purchased from product categories other than those listed as Qualifying Products. Products must be purchased from Bunnings (Australia), Tool Kit Depot (Australia) stores in Australia. Products purchased from any other sellers (including parallel imports), or outside Australia are not eligible to participate in this redemption.

5.      Qualifying Products may not be available in all stores. Bonus Products are also limited, and in some cases, depending on eligible claimant choices and demand not all Bonus Products may be available at time of redemption. The availability and the date for receiving delivery of some products may be impacted due to reasons outside the control of the Promoter, as a result product availability and dates may shift or change at the discretion of the Promoter. If the Promoter runs out of Bonus Products due to demand and current available stock levels, eligible claimants will be contacted and have the choice of waiting until new Bonus Product stock arrives or be offered an alternative solution bonus offer as notified by the Promoter. Any alternative or substituted bonus offer will have the same or a greater value than the advertised Bonus Product.

6.      No responsibility will be accepted for late or misdirected claims. A copy of the original receipt as proof of purchase is required. The Promoter may require claimants to provide further information regarding the circumstances of the product purchases to the Promoter or its agent as part of the verification process. Failure to provide this information to the Promoter’s satisfaction may result in an invalid claim at the Promoter’s discretion.

7.      Any misrepresentation or fraudulent information supplied by a claimant disqualifies their claim(s). The Bonus Product cannot be returned and is not, transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If you return a Qualifying Product your claim for the Bonus Product may be deemed invalid at the Promoter's discretion (unless the product is defective).

8.      The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and eligible claimants (including an eligible claimant’s identity and place of residence) and to disqualify any eligible claimant who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the claim process. Suitable forms of verification are at the discretion of the Promoter. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion.

9.      If this offer is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the offer, as appropriate.

10.  The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who it has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.

11.  Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a claimant receiving a product are the sole responsibility of the eligible claimant or participant.

12.  If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time. In all other respects, the Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this redemption is final.

13.  The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and related entities of the Promoter. Some of these third parties are located outside Australia and New Zealand, by entering into this Promotion an entrant is consenting to the disclosure of an entrant’s PI to entities outside of Australia and New Zealand. For further information, please see the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be viewed at https://www.aegpowertools.com.au/privacy-policy. Entry into the promotion may be conditional on providing certain PI. The Promoter will also use and handle all PI as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional, marketing, publicity, research, survey and profiling purposes, including sending emails/electronic messages, SMS or telephoning the entrant. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out of any communication, access, update or correct their PI, how entrants may complain about a privacy breach or concern and how those complaints will be dealt with.

14.  The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to actual product pricing. AEG product pricing varies and may increase and is adjusted every year, the Promoter does not guarantee any product pricing and the product RRP is subject to change due to factors beyond the Promoter’s control.

15.  Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

16.  . This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram or YouTube. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to any social media platform. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to any relevant social media platform.

17.  Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.

18.  The laws of Victoria, Australia apply to this redemption and these Terms and Conditions. Claimants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
