WARRANTY
Your new AEG power tool is covered by a 3 Year Warranty as outlined on the warranty card included with your new AEG power tool. To qualify for the 3 Year Warranty simply retain your proof of purchase (receipt) for a period of 3 years from the original date of purchase.

In accordance with the following terms and conditions, Techtronic Industries Australia Pty Ltd
ABN 98 002 277 509 and Techtronic Industries New Zealand Limited agrees to repair or replace,
at it's own discretion any AEG product that has been purchased in Australia or New Zealand
from an authorised AEG stockist when the Product is determined by Techtronic Industries Australia Pty Ltd
or Techtronic Industries New Zealand Limited to have a defect in its material or workmanship.

1. Warranty Period

a) The warranty period for your AEG tool is 36 months from the date of purchase.
This must be documented by an invoice or other proof of purchase.

b) The warranty period for battery packs and chargers is 12 months from the date of purchase.
This must be documented by an invoice or other proof of purchase.

c) The warranty period for chucks, collets and fixtec systems is 3 months from the date of purchase.
This must be documented by an invoice or other proof of purchase.

2. This Warranty

a) Covers the Product only described against labour and faulty materials.

b) Covers the replacement of parts and the repair labour used, for the remainder of the warranty period.

3. This Warranty does not cover

a) If repairs are made or attempted by other than Techtronic Industries Pty Ltd,
Techtronic Industries New Zealand or the authorised service centres.

b) Normal wear and tear. Parts such as carbon brushes, bearings, seals, o rings etc.
must be regularly inspected so that the wear and tear on such parts do not lead to failure of the tool.
For optimum performance the tool should be inspected regularly by an authorised service centre.

c) Abuse, misuse, the subject of an accident, being dropped, crushed, impacted with any hard surface,
exposed to extreme heat (including fire) or cold, improper maintenance, continued use after partial fail.

d) Acts of God, vermin or foreign matter entering e.g. dirt and moisture.

e) If the Product has been modified, incorrectly adjusted or operated,
the subject of incorrect electrical supply or inconsistent supply, used with inappropriate accessories.

f) If the Product is tampered with any way or if the damage has been caused by any event of force majeure.

g) If the Product has not been used or maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions as provided with the product.

h) If the Product's serial number, as applied by the manufacture, has been altered or removed from the product.

i) To the repair or replacement of any consumables relating to the Product.

4. Liability

In no event shall Techtronic Industries Australia Pty Ltd, Techtronic Industries New Zealand,
or any affiliates, be liable for consequential, incidental or indirect damages or other losses or
expenses incurred by reason of use or sale of product. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties,
expressed or implied whether for merchantability or fitness for particular use or purpose.

5. Under this Warranty

a) The product defects covered by this warranty will be repaired, during normal business hours
by an authorised service centre. Without cost to the owner for parts and repair labour or,
at the option of Techtronic Industries Australia Pty Ltd, Techtronic Industries New Zealand Limited will be replaced.

b) The owner is responsible at all times for freight costs and insurance costs if the Product
has to be returned for repair/inspection to an authorised service centre.

6. For Repair under this Warranty

a) The owner must present the invoice or other proof of purchase to the authorised service centre.

b) For Service in Australia the customer should contact the Australian Customer Service line
on 1300 361 505 to obtain the nearest authorised service centre.

c) For Service in New Zealand the customer should contact the New Zealand hotline application
on 0800 279 624 to obtain the nearest authorised service centre.



In addition to any legally stipulated warranty rights resulting from the purchase,
AEG Power Tools are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship
as stated below.

This warranty is subject to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and the New Zealand Consumer Gurantee Act 1993.
AEG Power Tools come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
The customer is entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for
any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. The customer is also entitled to have AEG Power Tools
repaired or replaced if the Products fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
