AEG WORK SITE SPECIALIST
The Work Site Specialist is responsible for driving in-field conversions, trialling of new product and increasing brand awareness, which directly impacts our market share in each region.Charged with the development and execution of a regional plan which targets and converts strategic users and enhances brand awareness in your territory, you will be a team player that works closely with our major customers trade representives in your state, to facilitate end user conversions through cold calling trade events and by making in-field joint sales calls.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively present and sell the AEG advantage to users.
- Identify and develop a plan to convert strategic (large) users within the building industry
- Execute joint end user calls with trade account sales staff.
- Maximise exposure and relationships within key trade associations and trade schools such as the TAFE and HIA.
- Know your competition and their weaknesses.
- Operate within the established budget guidelines.
- Prepare and present reports as required
- Plan and execute AEG trade events

This exciting and challenging role will see you charged with the development and execution of a regional plan which targets and converts strategic users and enhances brand awareness in your territory, working closely with our major customers trade representives in your state, and facilitating end user conversions through cold calling trade events and by making in-field joint sales calls.
Reporting directly to the AEG Product Manager, the successful candidate will possess experience in a heavily sales focused role and will have a successful and proven track record as a successful trade sales professional. Direct sales experince within the construction industry and/ or a relative trade background would be an advantage in this role, as well as practical hands on experience using/ demonstrating portable power tools. The ability to form part of a highly motivated and successful team and building and maintaining long standing business relationships is crucial, as are sound merchandising skills, enthusiasm and outstanding communication skills.The successful applicant requires a current drivers license and must be willing to work occasional weekends in order to attend trade shows and special events throughout the designated area.
